Kellan Quinn, CPCU, AMIM

CO-President

Kellan Quinn is the Co-President and founder of Eirion Risk Underwriters, overseeing product development, compliance, reinsurance, operations, and underwriting. Before founding Eirion, he spent 17 years at ACE Westchester, advancing to Senior Vice President of Inland Marine. Kellan holds a degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia, as well as CPCU and AMIM designations. He is a licensed P&C agent and Surplus Lines Broker and resides in the metro Atlanta area with his wife and three children.

Casey Quinn, CPCU, ASLI, ARM

Co-President

Casey Quinn is the Co-President and founder of Eirion Risk Underwriters, responsible for reinsurance placement, expense management, and underwriting strategy. He began his career at Marsh & McLennan before holding key roles in ACE Westchester’s Property Group. A University of Wisconsin graduate with a double major in Finance Investment & Banking and Risk Management & Insurance, Casey also holds the CPCU, ARM, and ASLI industry designations. He is a licensed P&C agent and Surplus Lines Broker, and resides in the metro Atlanta area with his wife and two daughters.

Devin Claypool, AU, ASLI

Chief Underwriting Officer

Devin Claypool is the Chief Underwriting Officer at Eirion Risk Underwriters, where he is responsible for managing underwriting operations and developing new products. With over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Devin has previously held key underwriting leadership roles at Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions and ACE Westchester. He is a graduate of Warren Wilson College with a degree in Environmental Studies and holds the ASLI and AU designations.

Chelsea Glassman, CPCU

SEnior Vice President

Chelsea Glassman is a seasoned insurance professional with over a decade of experience in underwriting complex builder’s risk and inland marine products. As Senior Vice President at Eirion Risk Underwriters, she oversees key underwriting decisions and manages client relationships. A graduate of the University of South Carolina and a CPCU designation holder, Chelsea has a proven track record in developing effective underwriting strategies. Before Eirion, she worked at Westchester, where she specialized in inland marine products. She currently lives in Atlanta with her husband and two kids.

Weseley Thomas

Assistant Vice President

Weseley Thomas is an Assistant Vice President at Eirion Risk Underwriters, specializing in builders risk underwriting.  He has prior experience in inland marine and commercial insurance products, having worked with Westchester, a Chubb Company, and AmWINS Group. Weseley holds a degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.

Nader Mansour

Underwriting & Operations Director

Nader Mansour is the Underwriting and Operations Director at Eirion Risk Underwriters. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Georgia State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Nader has a strong background in finance and operations, supporting the growth and efficiency of underwriting processes at Eirion.

Matt Shapiro

Senior Underwriter

Matt Shapiro is a Senior Underwriter at Eirion Risk Underwriters. He has a background in finance and underwriting, previously holding roles at Westchester, a Chubb Company, and Altus Group. Matt holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.

Zach Snow

AVP Property

Zach Snow is an Assistant Vice President at Eirion Risk Underwriters. He brings several years of property underwriting experience from Westchester, a Chubb Company, and holds professional designations including CPCU, ARe, and ARM. Zach earned his degree in Finance and Insurance from Illinois State University

Bogusia Karnydal

AVP Property

Bogusia Karnydal is an Assistant Vice President of Property at Eirion Risk Underwriters. She has extensive property underwriting experience from CRC Insurance Services and Westchester, a Chubb Company. Bogusia holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration from Georgia Perimeter and Wyższa Szkoła Zarządzania i Administracji in Poland.

Colin Gorman is a Property Underwriter at Eirion Risk Underwriters. Before joining the team, he worked at LocumTenens.com in recruitment and operations. Colin earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Marketing from the University of Mississippi

Donald F. Cronin III is an Assistant Vice President at Eirion Risk Underwriters, specializing in Builder’s Risk. He brings more than 20 years of underwriting and operations experience from  Westchester, a Chubb Company, and Gerling America Insurance company. Don holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from The City University of New York

 

Michael Davis

Managing Director

Michael Davis is the Managing Director of Construction Professional Liability at Eirion Risk Underwriters, bringing over 30 years of experience spanning geotechnical engineering, risk consulting, and underwriting strategy. A graduate of LaSalle College with a degree in geology, he began his career in the field before transitioning into risk management and underwriting. Prior to joining Eirion, Michael held leadership roles at Kemper and Zurich North America, where he oversaw construction professional liability strategy and portfolio management. Known for his analytical approach and deep technical expertise, Michael is dedicated to building disciplined, data-driven underwriting programs that deliver long-term performance and stability.

Katherine Shorney

Director of Underwriting

Katherine Shorney is the Underwriting Director of Construction Professional Liability at Eirion Risk Underwriters. She began her insurance career at Zurich Construction’s Dallas office, where she advanced from specialty underwriter to team leader across multiple product lines, including Contractor’s Professional Liability, OPPI, and Environmental Professional Liability. Known for her technical expertise and collaborative leadership, Katherine earned manuscripting authority and served as a national resource for complex coverage analysis. Her experience managing multinational placements and driving underwriting excellence has shaped her reputation as a trusted partner to brokers and clients. Katherine is dedicated to fostering disciplined, innovative underwriting and long-term portfolio growth.

Wayne Marshall

Director

Wayne Marshall is the Director of Construction Professional Liability at Eirion Risk Underwriters, bringing over 20 years of experience across law, claims, and underwriting. A graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, he began his career practicing insurance defense before transitioning to claims counsel roles at Royal & SunAlliance and Zurich. Wayne later held leadership positions at Catlin and Berkley Alliance Managers, where he developed national claims and litigation programs. Most recently, he served as Senior Construction Professional Liability Underwriter at Zurich. Wayne is known for his legal insight, technical expertise, and commitment to disciplined, relationship-driven underwriting.

Michael Parsons

Director

Michael Parons is the Director of Construction Professional Liability at Eirion Risk Underwriters, bringing more than 20 years of combined claims and underwriting experience. He began his career handling complex casualty claims for Fortune 500 clients before joining Zurich, where he managed architects, engineers, and contractor professional liability claims. In 2015, he transitioned to underwriting within Zurich’s construction professional liability team, later advancing to Assistant Vice President. Michael led policy form development and helped establish underwriting standards for complex construction risks. He is recognized for his technical expertise, precision in coverage design, and commitment to disciplined, solutions-oriented underwriting.

Mark Cartwright

Mark Cartwright is the Director of Construction Professional Liability at Eirion Risk Underwriters, bringing more than 20 years of underwriting and brokering experience in the construction industry. A graduate of the University of California, Riverside, he has held key roles at Allied North America, Aon, Wells Fargo Insurance Services, and Zurich North America. At Zurich, he managed the western region’s Contractor’s Protective Professional Liability portfolio and led initiatives to improve profitability and underwriting discipline. Mark is known for his collaborative approach, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering strategic insurance solutions for complex construction risks.

Jean Morris

Claims Director

Jean Morris is the Claims Director at Eirion Risk Underwriters. She brings over three decades of experience in construction and professional liability claims, including leadership roles at Zurich North America and Crawford & Company. Before joining Eirion, Jean spent a decade at CNA Insurance, where she handled complex construction defect claims and served as a negotiator. She is recognized for her pragmatic, transparent approach to claims resolution and holds certification in International Programs Claims Training.

Kelly Young

Kelly Young is an Underwriting Assistant at Eirion Risk Underwriters. She previously worked with Munich Re Specialty – North America, supporting underwriting functions across multiple commercial lines. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design

Sarah Sparks

Senior Catastrophe Modeling Analyst

Sarah Sparks is a Senior Catastrophe Modeling Analyst at Eirion Risk Underwriters. She has an extensive background in computational mathematics and data analytics, and supports underwriting operations through data-driven risk analysis. Sarah graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Kennesaw State University.

Violeta Ciocan

Director of Accounting

Maria Violeta Ciocan is the Director of Accounting at Beyond Risk. She brings extensive experience in finance and accounting operations, having managed financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance at Liquidware and Milan Eye Center. Maria holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from Dunarea de Jos University and an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Stratford Career Institute
